What to do before our technician arrives

Print
  • Identify the location of the appliance that needs to be repaired, the water shut-off valves and circuit breakers.
  • Do the basic checks yourself if possible, following the guide of the "Troubleshooting" section.
  • Be prepared to clearly explain the problems or symptoms to the technician.
  • Make sure you know when the problems arose and note the error codes displayed if any.
  • The device must be accessible. Remove any objects that could obstruct access to your device. Note that our technicians can under no circumstances risk injury by doing a repair.
  • If the unit is in a closet or is superimposed, make sure it is easily accessible for the technician.
  • Keep pets in a closed room so they do not disturb the technician and to prevent them from being injured accidentally during repair.
  • Make sure an adult (18 and over) is there to welcome the technician (according to the rules stipulated by law).
  • Be prepared to answer the phone.
  • In winter, make sure the parking and the entry steps are clear and ice-free, for safety.
  • Keep a record of previous service calls handy for your appliance.
  • Be prepared to provide payment to the technician if your device is out of warranty.
  • We accept credit card payment (Visa and MasterCard only), cash and checks. Note that post-dated checks are not accepted.
